Taking work home

I had a meeting with a nurse from John Abbott College. I wanted to know how she managed to go back home at night and not bring the patients with her. It’s impossible. That nurse had a ritual when she got home. She went through that process. It doesn’t always work.
Yes, you bring the people back home with you, the kids back home with you. It’s sometimes very difficult.
I work with the Department of Youth Protection. There, I realized what I was doing, and I had a mission. I’m not there to find out what their problems are. I’m there to open doors. How to transform matter into something useful. That’s what’s gonna keep you alive. Building a shelter, building a tool, building a trap to feed yourself.
